Personnel Privacy Notice
This is the notice we give the people who work with us when we ask them for personal details. Data Protection is the internal duty of care that binds everyone handling this data; this page is what the person handing it over is entitled to be told.
Show it, or link to it, wherever the details are collected. A KYC form that asks for a bank account and a next of kin without telling someone why is not a form we should be sending.
Who holds your data
Cuesoft Nigeria Limited (Ikoyi, Lagos) and Cuesoft Inc. (Dover, Delaware). Reach us at hello@cuesoft.io.
What we collect
Your name, date of birth, personal phone number, email address, home address, state and country, your tax identification number, a passport photograph, your next of kin's name, relationship to you and phone number, and your bank account details.
We do not ask for your NIN, your passport number, or a scan of any government ID.
Why we collect it

| Tax identification number | So we can pay you in full. Without a TIN on file we are required to withhold 10% of what we owe you and remit it, so giving us one means more of your money reaches you. |
| Home address, phone, email | To reach you and to send anything that has to go somewhere physical. |
| Passport photograph | Identification on internal systems and ID cards. |
| Next of kin | To reach someone if something happens to you while you are engaged with us. Nothing else. |
Next of kin details are the one item here collected for someone else's benefit rather than ours. We do not contact them for any other reason, and we do not pass them outside Cuesoft.
Who sees it
- Airtable stores these records. Its servers are in the United States.
- Your bank, and our accounting records in QuickBooks, receive what is needed to make and account for payment.
- Brevo carries email we send you.
Nobody outside Cuesoft receives your next of kin details.
How long we keep it
For as long as you are engaged with us, and for six years after the engagement ends. That is the record-keeping window Nigerian tax and company law set.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it where we have no obligation to keep it. Email hello@cuesoft.io. Requests are handled manually, within the timelines the privacy policy commits to.
Interns
Your data stipend is processed the same way as any other payment, so everything above applies to you in the same terms.
