Standups

Teams run a daily standup during active sprints: what you finished since the last one, what you are doing next, and what is blocking you.

• Interns attend the standups of their programme's sprints — the ceremony is part of the training. Contractors attend the ceremonies their signed scope includes, and no others.
• If you cannot make one, post your update asynchronously in your team channel (Slack for contractors, Discord for interns) before the standup time — an async update counts; silence does not.
• Keep it to updates and blockers. Anything that needs discussion gets its own thread or call with the people it concerns.
• Going silent on a committed ceremony is a commitment problem — see work ethic and violations.
