Confidentiality & NDA

Every Cuesoft agreement — contractor and intern alike — carries confidentiality obligations. This policy states them once, plainly.

What is confidential

Any non-public information you receive or produce while working with us, in any medium, including: source code of private repositories, algorithms and technical documentation, business plans and strategies, financial data, client information and client lists, contact details, trade secrets, proprietary processes, project details, database structures, system architecture, and marketing or business development plans.

If information is marked confidential, it is. If its nature or the circumstances of disclosure make it obviously confidential, it is. If you are unsure, ask before sharing — never after.

Your obligations

• Hold confidential information in strict confidence and handle it with the same care we use ourselves.
• No disclosure to any third party — including family, friends and colleagues outside the engagement — without prior written consent.
• Use it only for the work it was shared for.
• Report any unauthorised use, disclosure or suspected breach immediately, in writing, to hello@cuesoft.io.

What is not confidential

Information that is public through no fault of yours, and information the law requires you to disclose. Our open-source products are public by design — their code is not confidential; the clients' and company's private material around them is.

Duration

Confidentiality obligations survive the end of your engagement. Leaving Cuesoft ends your access, not your obligations.
