The Cuesoft Handbook

This is how Cuesoft works, written down. It applies to everyone who works with us — the founders, independent contractors, and CueLABS™ interns — unless a signed agreement says otherwise. Where this handbook and a signed agreement differ, the agreement wins.

The handbook is public on purpose. We build in the open: our products carry public commit histories, our engineering standard is published, and the way we run the company should hold up to the same daylight.

Who we are

Cuesoft is an AI company that builds its own engineers. We have been building since 2017, incorporated in Nigeria in 2019 (Cuesoft Nigeria Limited) and in the United States in 2022 (Cuesoft Inc., Delaware). One pipeline runs through everything we do:

Property What it is
CueTA™ Cuesoft Talent Academy — a paid AI academy taught by the founders. Learners apply; every application starts with a free consultation call.
CueLABS™ Open-source Internships — interns and researchers ship production code to Apparule, Expendit and Upstat under one published engineering standard.
CueHIRE™ The Cuesoft Talent and Project Management Agency — end-to-end delivery, managed engineers and referral hiring for startups, NGOs and government.
The CueShow™ The Cuesoft podcast — on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube.
The CueBlog™ Writing from the team, published on Medium.

Cueprise™, our enterprise business management platform, is licensed to organisations under separate written agreements.

How we work

  • Remote, async-first. We work across Lagos and Delaware. Writing beats meetings; decisions get documented.
  • Two-week sprints. Client work runs on Linear (CueHIRE™); the open-source products run on GitHub Projects (CueLABS™); CueTA™ teaches through Google Classroom while our own CueLearn platform is built.
  • Senior-led. Every division is run by a founder who works in it, and client escalation ends at that table.
  • AI-native. Agentic systems, AI automation and AI-assisted engineering are standard practice — in client work, in the curriculum, and in our own tooling.

Changing this handbook

The handbook lives in a public git repository. Anyone working with Cuesoft may propose a change by pull request; a founder approves and merges. Every page shows when it last changed.
